StudioBooth spent a lot time on the road during 2011. We had some amazing experiences photographing across America, along both coasts, through the south as well as abroad. In December, we headed over to Japan again for a series of events.
First stop: Osaka and the HEP Five blowout holiday event. The lost-in-translation description of the event was a “Holiday Fantasy Photo Performance with StudioBooth!" We knew the pressure was on when, walking through the subway one day, we saw big posters with our photo advertising the event. With the help of our new Japanese friends we performed admirably, and captured some hilarious moments.
Tokyo was stop number two, for the Tokyo Crossover/Jazz Festival presented by the Volkswagen Beetle. It was great to catch up with our boy, Japanese don Shuya Okino of the Kyoto Jazz Massive as well as our extended Tokyo crew! We were sad to leave after such an incredible adventure but sure to be back soon!
